Cross-distro (RHEL/Debian) VM setup: zsh + oh-my-zsh with a self-healing bash fallback for environments that reset the root filesystem or hardcode bash for new terminals (e.g. Kasm Workspaces), plus git identity and HTTPS credential-store configuration.
